Hermès celebrates Greece

hermès-greek-scarf

Happy bursts of colour, depicting beautiful scenery inspired by mainland Greece, the Peloponnese, and the Aegean islands, serve as a joyful background for the word ELEFTHERIA (freedom) on a limited-edition silk scarf, designed by Greek artist Elias Kafouros for the luxury brand Hermès, in celebration of the bicentennial anniversary of the Greek war of Independence.   This exceptional Hermès scarf will be available from its flagship store in Athens as from 26 March 2021, and in line with its values for community support this reputable brand will donate part of the proceeds to Sotiria Thoracic Diseases Hospital of Athens.  This is a bright example of how an ensemble of art, creativity and fashion superbly participate in such historical moments.
