More than any other year, Athens is fabulously decorated and ready to welcome a promising 2020.  The celebrations started off from 6 December, through to Epiphany day on January 6, with a whole month of impressive events at every corner of this vibrant capital.  Syntagma square takes center stage with a 17-meter-tall Christmas tree, all lit up during an official ceremony by the city’s mayor, followed by a 3D projection mapping in front of the Greek Parliament and promising a Christmas and New Year’s like never before, with rich festivities held in some 70 locations around the city.

As 2019 comes to a close we would like to wish you, from a dazzling Athens, a Joyous Christmas and a New Year filled with health, love and peace.
