Their mentality and character translate into their signature dishes and their cooking becomes an extension of their innate creativity. As a foodie lover I was fortunate enough to meet soft spoken Christoforos Peskias during a cocktail event. Although proud to be Cypriot born, from an early age Greece stole his heart and provided him with an opportunity to flourish as a Chef. Balthazar, his signature restaurant in the Athens city centre, is housed in an impressive neoclassical building dating back to 1897, offering incredible summer dining in its lush gardens and truly gastronomical experiences within its fabulously decorated interior during the winter. One of his recent ventures as an executive Chef is at the hip “Jackie O Mykonos”, besides heading a boutique catering. With an array of international recognitions, features in notable culinary magazines and appearances in TV shows, a Master Class with the likes of Chef Peskias can be an integral part of an authentic Greek experience.
