A mild climate, a varied landscape and one of the longest coastlines in the world makes Greece ideal for all year-round sporting activities. By the Aegean or Ionian seas, pass by populated and deserted islands, and enjoy the crystal-clear waters and private beaches.  Such locations can cater as stops, while cruising, to try one’s endurance with Kite Surfing, Stand-Up Paddle Boarding(SUP), Flyboarding, Jet biking or discovering the underwater wonders by diving in caves, reefs and sea wrecks. Crete is ideal for windsurfing and kite-surfing with excellent conditions along the Athens Riviera for water and barefoot skiing and wakeboarding, as well as in Mykonos, Santorini and Kos.  There is also the option to join in popular racing events such as the Aegean Regatta or the Spetses Classic Yacht Regatta, leisurely follow these fascinating competitions as a spectator or participate in your own Sailing Regatta organised by the OM team.  By land there are endless trekking trails from Olympus, known as the mountain of the Gods, the pillars of Meteora, to the longest hiking gorge in Europe of Samaria in Crete.  For mountain biking, there are excellent routes near main cities like Parnitha, nearby Athens, as well at distant places with a pristine nature as a backdrop.  In the winter months ski centres at Parnassos, Kalavryta offer magical slopes for downhill thrills. River rafting, at locations like Lousios, the Acheloos and the Pineios, can be part of an exhilarating team event for the adrenaline seekers, as well as off-road routes for car or motorcycle racing.  The Triathlon to Decathlon is a ‘pick & mix’ activity, which combines fun and a range of challenges, such as Archery, Dune buggy racing, Beach games, Water Polo or even a Sand Castle contest.
