Mikri Salamina, a sculpture park and open-air gallery in the outskirts of Limassol provides an excellent alternative for an artistic venue by the tranquil village of Fasoula.  An amphitheatre, as a tribute to Salamis, located close to the occupied town of Famagusta, serves as the focal point amidst natural vegetation and stone-built terraces for outdoor events. The newly built and more modern Art Nest gallery accommodates indoor corporate functions, surrounded by unique works of art.  Philippos Yiapanis, a gifted Cypriot sculptor working in bronze, draws inspiration from his childhood memories of his occupied hometown Famagusta, and the need for freedom and peace. A lot of his works also depict women and birds, adorning many places throughout the island.
